Time Out New York, Hamster Style!

Oh my god, in this week's issue of Time Out New York--The Animal Issue--there's a story about the New York Hamster House. And photos! Of my beautiful living room!

Can you tell I am SO excited?!!?!?


Oh, I am so happy. The magazine is full of issues that are really important to me... there's a page about adopting animals (which sadly does not mention the New York Hamster House!), a vegetarian dining section, and tons of other animal-centric articles. So cool!

Yawning, Sneezing Gloria

While I was cleaning some hamster cages earlier today, I was lucky enough to catch this little monster yawning and then sneezing with my camera! She is named Gloria after my very good friend, who also probably yawns and sneezes. Occasionally.

Hamster yawns are intense. It looks like she detached her jaw... and is trying to eat me!

Oh well, at least hamster sneezes are super cute :)



I think Gloria's got a cold, which is why she's sneezing, but don't worry. I will make sure to take extra good care of this little gal. In the meantime, enjoy the yawning!
